Dr. Nate Heywood, DDS
Dr. Heywood was born and raised in Riverton Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Health Services Administration at Weber State University prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University where he graduated magna cum laude and was also inducted into the prestigious OKU dental honor society.
Dr. Heywood went on to complete the highly regarded University of Florida Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Seminole, FL. This residency provided additional training and significant hands-on experience in all aspects of dentistry, including: implants, wisdom teeth extractions, root canals, bone-grafts, crowns, bridges, dentures, and bite adjustments. This program is affiliated with the world-renown Dawson Academy and Implant Educators which is one of the nation’s best implant continuing education courses. He is a current member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Recently, Dr. Heywood took a position as an adjunct faculty member at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine and loves educating our countries future dentists!Dr. Heywood loves spending time with his family, traveling and being outdoors, hiking and camping. He is a huge football fan, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators.
